(Bajina Basta, September 15th 2004)
Today, Director of the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC), Country Office Serbia and Montenegro and Regional Director of REC for South Eastern Europe, Dr Radoje Lausevic, has signed the Agreement for Procurement of Water Cleaner Vessel for removal of solid waste from Lake Perucac surface. With the total funds of 3.500 000 CSD (49.500 EUR) by the end of year 2004, the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) is giving the support to National Park “Tara” and Municipality of Bajina Basta in urgent sanation of the Lake Perucac solid waste pollution. The Agreement has been signed with Director of National Park “Tara”, Mr Dusan Milovanovic and President of Municipality of Bajina Basta, Mr Boban Tomic.
