Agreement on cooperation in respect to implementation of the LEAP :

Official signing of the Agreement on Cooperation between REC and Ljubovija and Priboj municipalities

According to the participation in the Project: "Cross-border LEAP`s: Environmental planning for peace and stability" REC CO Serbia, represented by Milan Dacić, Director and Presidents of the Municipalities Ljubovija and Priboj, Vidoje Jovanović and Milenko Milićević signed the Agreement on Cooperation in respect to implementation of the LEAP
The parties emphasized joint contribution to the application of principles of the sustainable development and Agenda 21, as well as mutual cooperation at preparation of the Local Environmental Action Plan, intending to contribute the betterment of living conditions of the citizens, in respect to environmental protection, conservation of nature and development of the communal infrastructure in each municipality.
The project is supported by the Netherlands Minister for Development Cooperation with total budget of 750,000.00 EUR and it will be i mplemented based on all human rights, democratic principles, transparency and open dialogue. The main goal of the project is development of a strategic, operational document wich can help community in active acting on the plan of environmental protection.
