The Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe, Country Office Serbia and Montenegro (REC CO SCG), has started implementation of the project: ”Assisting Local Communities in Three Municipalities in Serbia in Solving Environmental Problems”.

Following results of the feasibility study, local communities selected for the project implementation were Municipalities of Backa Topola, Becej and Kikinda ( Vojvodina province ). During the timeline of the project (30 months) two main clusters of activities will be conducted: development of Local Environmental Action Plan for each municipality and infrastructural follow up for selected priorities.
